No duplication, reproduction, or translation of this material is permitted without the prior permission of the IACVS, except as provided below

1.2     You are permitted to use the material contained on this site to inform yourself, your employer, and your clients of the requirements of the International Valuation Standards, Technical Information Papers, or other guidance and codes issued by the IACVS in connection with the normal course of your business or employment. This includes permission to make reference to this website or material published on it when advising clients, but excludes permission to reproduce such material and provide it to your clients.

1.3     You are not permitted to use any material published on this website to create a commercial product, either by reproducing it or elements of it in any material distributed for commercial gain or through use in conferences, seminars, or other events without the prior written consent of the IACVS.  The IACVS reserves the right to charge a fee for such use.

1.4     You may make this website available to others through your website or in email correspondence by hypertext linking. However, the IACVS accepts no responsibility if the target of any hypertext link is moved or removed.

2.1.      The adoption or use of any International Association of Certified Valuation Specialists standards by any entity is entirely voluntary and at the user’s risk.  The International Valuation Standards Council does not control how or if any entity chooses to use the standards and does not and cannot ensure or require compliance with the standards.  The International Association of Certified Valuation Specialists does not audit, monitor, review, or control in any way the manner in which users apply the standards.

2.2.      The material contained on this website does not constitute valuation or other professional advice. The IACVS accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage that may arise from reliance on information contained on this website.

2.3.      While every attempt has been made to ensure the quality and accuracy of its contents the IACVS makes no warranty, either express or implied, regarding the content of this website.

1. Jurisdiction

3.1     This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with, Canadian law.  It is hereby irrevocably agreed and accepted that the Courts of Canada are to have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any claim, difference, or dispute (including, without limitation, claims for set-off or counterclaims) which may arise out of or in connection with this agreement. Each party irrevocably waives any right it may have to object to an action being brought in such Courts, to claim that the action has been brought in an inconvenient forum, or to claim that such courts do not have jurisdiction.
